Facilitating the practitioner's ability to be open to their inner experiencing in order to become fully present and engaged in relationship with the client.
Supervision provides a reflective space in which we can explore our needs as practitioners. How we are, and who we are, are reflected in our work with clients. In a helping environment it can be easy to neglect our selves and our energy.
Supervision provides the opportunity to examine in a confidential and supportive environment:
- Ethical questions
- Relationships with and within an organisation
- Boundary issues
- Self care and how to avoid burn out
- Responses to clients with special focus on the internal felt sense
- Case load management
- Communication skills
- Professional and personal issues
- BACP/UKCP Accreditation
We have experience offering supervision to counsellors/psychotherapists including trainees and other professionals and we work within the BACP/UKCP code of ethics and practice.
Sessions can be individual or for small groups and frequency can be arranged according to need.
