Dr Alison Gray qualified in medicine at Cambridge University. She trained in psychiatry in the West Midlands and has worked for several local hospital trusts, with experience in general adult, rehabilitation and Deaf psychiatry.
Alison divides her time between clinical practice, research and teaching, with recent publications on the overlap of spirituality and health. Alison is a research associate at the University of Birmingham school of Psychology and a research fellow for 'WholeCare'.
Alison has a particular interest in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, and has extensive experience working with Deaf clients through British Sign Language interpreters.
Alison is fully registered with the General Medical Council and is a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. She is married with three children.
