Alison graduated from Oxford Brookes University with a BA (Hons) degree in traditional acupuncture in 2003. She is a Licentiate in Traditional Acupuncture and a member of the British Acupuncture Council.

She is a Faculty Member of the College of Traditional Acupuncture in Warwick teaching acupuncture students; she also holds Point Location Classes for acupuncture students at the Beacon Clinic.

Alison is committed to continuing professional development and regularly attends courses, at home and abroad, to further her skills and knowledge as a practitioner of Traditional Acupuncture. She also undertakes on-going self-development courses.

Alison is married with sons and lives in Malvern. Prior to training as an acupuncturist she worked as a teacher, an administrator for the National Health Service and a Commercial Manager for a Property Developer.
