COVID
Secure Measures

What our practitioners are doing at the clinic to keep you and them as safe

  • Practitioners follow guidelines of their professional bodies.

  • Practitioners are wearing PPE according to those guidelines.

  • Practitioners screen clients coming to the clinic before their appointment and on arrival for Covid-19 risk.

  • Where possible clients will be collected outside the clinic by practitioners.

What we ask our clients and patients to do if they are coming to the clinic

  • Please don't come to the clinic if you or a member of your household have a fever, a cough or any other virus symptoms, or are in a quarantine period

  • Please wear a face covering when at the clinic

  • Please use the hand sanitiser provided

  • Please arrive at the clinic at the exact time of your appointment. Your practitioner will agree in advance if you can come in directly or wait outside

Here is a list of all our COVID secure measures at the Beacon Clinic:

  • Hand sanitiser and disinfectant wipe dispensers are positioned throughout the clinic

  • Increased cleaning protocols are in place

  • Clients appointments are being spaced out where possible

  • The waiting room has been rearranged for social distancing

  • New wipeable chairs are in use

  • The clinic has now fitted 20 Phillips UV-C germicidal fluorescent lights to come on at night to deep clean every night.

  • There are also six  mobile UV-C fluorescent lights to clean the rooms in between consultations / sessions.

  • When anyone is working in any of the consulting / therapy rooms, we have specialist air sanitisation units, one for every room. The units are all fitted with a concealed UVC light to kill any viruses in the air as it is passed through the unit.

  • Propolis diffusers are positioned throughout the clinic.

  • Both toilets have PIR operated ozone air sterilising units

  • All bins are now hands-free

  • Sadly all magazines, books and toys have had to be removed

  • Consultation rooms 3 & 7 have been turned into ‘covid secure bubble rooms’. These two rooms have direct access from outside via steps or ramp , avoiding communal reception and hall areas.

Updated: Spring 2022

We take the well-being of clients/patients and practitioners seriously and have therefore provided extra covid-secure measures see below.

In line with current Government guidance, visitors are required to continue to wear face coverings in healthcare settings, unless exempt. This is to protect other clients who may be clinically vulnerable and your practitioner.

Hand sanitiser is available for your use and we would ask that you do not attend the clinic if you have any symptoms of infection. Thank you for your understanding and support to care for others.

All our independent practitioners are responsible for their own covid-secure measures; please ask your practitioner for more information on this. The directors are not responsible for the anti-covid measures each practitioner chooses to use.
