Having overcome significant challenges in my own life, I believe we all have the capacity to be more resourceful, resilient and capable than we ever think possible.
However, in demanding times, it is not always easy to see this for ourselves and instead we can be left feeling stressed out, worn down and stuck in our situation, unsure of where to go next.
Over time, this can take a significant toll on our well-being, relationships and overall enjoyment of life. If left unchecked, it can also increase our risk of developing a mental health disorder – something I feel should be prevented whenever possible.
Therefore, through professional and accredited coaching, my aim is to help you effectively navigate stressful times – enabling you to regain calm, reclaim control and move forward on your terms.
I will also help you build a toolkit of tailored-to-you, evidence-backed exercises and strategies that will boost your well-being, coping resources and resilience - leaving you better equipped to deal with whatever life throws at you, both now and in the future.
About me
I am a professionally trained coach and mentor, having studied at the University of Warwick, and I also hold a first-class honours degree in Social Psychology. I am accredited at Practitioner level by the European Coaching and Mentoring Council (EMCC) and am also a member of the British Psychological Society's Division of Coaching Psychology.
Alongside specialised training in well-being, psychological resilience and stress management, I am also a qualified Mindfulness Teacher (British Psychological Society approved training course). I therefore offer mindfulness skills training within my practice to help you find calm, perspective and space, regardless of what’s currently going on in your life.
Since 2017, I have been privileged to work with both young people and adults from varying backgrounds and with different life experiences, including neurodivergent clients. Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic and beyond, I have also proudly been a coaching practitioner for the not-for-profit organisation Project5 - supporting the well-being and resilience of NHS staff at all levels in extremely challenging times. I am passionate about coaching and its power to change people’s lives in hugely positive ways, and this is what motivates me to do what I do.

Professional Standards and Code of Ethics
My practice is underpinned by the EMCC’s Global Code of Ethics - which promotes best practice and the highest professional standards in coaching and mentoring, and which is supported by other professional coaching organisations worldwide (for further details, please visit emccuk.org/pdf).
I receive a minimum of 1.5 hours supervision with an accredited Coaching Supervisor each month, and I also hold an enhanced DBS check.
I am committed to providing you with the best possible service and standards in coaching and regularly review and update my training and practice to ensure I am achieving these.
Free initial consultation
To ensure that coaching is right for you, I offer a free 30-minute introductory consultation (via Zoom). This will give you a good idea about what coaching is and how it can support you – enabling you to make an informed decision before you commit.
To find out more, or to book a free introductory appointment, please call 01684 325125.
"Kerry has helped me enormously through our coaching sessions. We have tackled so many issues: imposter syndrome, letting go of the need for control, identifying my own strengths and using these effectively, creating a more sustainable work life balance, saying 'no' and mindfulness techniques. I felt completely at ease and able to be open and honest throughout. I am now calmer at home and more confident at work. Thank you."
